Non-food items (NFIs) are items other than food. The term is especially used in humanitarian contexts, when providing NFIs to those affected by natural disasters or war may be a life-saving priority. It is impossible to make an exhaustive list of Non-food Items. The list below covers the most common items.

SHELTER MATERIALS
A shelter is not just bricks and mortar, or a tent, but a means to protect those uprooted. In emergencies, it is fundamental to provide shelter as part of the life-saving responsibilities and mandate of humanitarian actors, so that forcibly displaced people can enjoy a secure and healthy living environment that protects them from weather conditions, and offer them privacy, dignity, comfort, and emotional security.

LOCAL SHELTER MATERIALS :
Emergency shelter needs are best met by using locally available, sustainably sourced materials and construction methods. Only if adequate quantities cannot be quickly obtained locally, should emergency shelter material be brought into the country. The simplest structures and building methods are preferable, if they offer adequate safety and protection from weather conditions. Materials should be, to the extent possible, environmentally friendly and obtained from sustainable sources, especially wood:

GALGALO has signed numerous supply and delivery contracts with multi organizations and the projects implementation were done in high guilty manner. The details are listed below:

January 2009, Galgalo has signed a contract with Medicines Sans Frontiers (MsF) in multiple services including the provision of different types of Trucks and Supply, delivery different types of goods such as Medical Materials. Equipment, Construction Materials, Food Items and Non-food Items to serious locations in Darfur Region in Western Sudan . Likewise, in Abyei areas with other various NGOs.

In 2010 Galgalo signed a contract with ACTTED to supply and delivery Construction Materials and Hygiene for Projects implementing in South Sudan.

December 22, 2016 to December 21, 2017, Frame agreement (FA) between the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Khartoum - Sudan and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises.The supplier agrees to provide UNHCR with supply of 2, 130 Shelters Material Kits for White Nile State and 213 Tool Kits for White Nile State.

April 9, 2018, agreement for supply and delivery of Goods between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide IOM with supply of 1600 improved emergency shelters (Bamboo sticks, Grass Mats, Ropes, Plastic sheets and Assembly for the material side by side) East Jebel Marra accordance with the terms and condition of the agreement.

January 2019, agreement for supply and delivery of Goods between UNICEF for Eastern Emergency Operation and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide UNICEF with supply and delivery of Educational and learning items, health nutrition, water sanitation equipment to the beneficiaries.

January 2019, agreement for supply and delivery of Livestock between FAO (Food & Agriculture Organization) and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide FAO with supply and delivery of Livestock for Beneficiaries in different locations in Sudan due to its technical specification requirements.

March 28, 2019, agreement for the supply and delivery of goods between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide IOM with 13, 000 single blankets 180x 90 cm, 13, 000 sleeping mats,(size:90 x180 cm), 6. 500 plastic sheets (size:6x4 yards, white color with 4 IOM Logo), 6, 500 kitchen set 21 pieces (Containing 5 stainless steel mugs, 3 aluminum pots with lid (17L & 25L), 6 table stainless steel spoons, 5 stainless steel bowls, 1 stainless steel knife with plastic handle, 1 stainless steel serving serving spoon, in a cardboard box, marked IOM Logo on two sides) and 6, 500 Rigid Jerry cans 18 liter, and the supplier will provide warehousing for 6 months in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

September, 2019, agreement for the supply and delivery of Goods between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide IOM with 4,300 single blankets 2000 cm x 220 cm, 4, 300 sleeping mats (size: 90 x 80 cm), 2, 150 Plastic sheets (size: 6 x 4 yards, white color with 4 IOM Logo), 2, 150 Kitchen set 21 pieces ( containing 5 stainless steel mugs, 3 Aluminum pots with lid (17L and 25L), 6 Table Stainless Steel Spoons, 5 Stainless Steel Bowls, 1 Stainless steel knife with plastic handle, 1 stainless steel serving spoon, in a cardboard box dimensions adjusted to fit kitchen set contents, packaged with tape and 4 plastic straps, marked IOM Logo on two sides) and 2, 150 Rigid Jerry cans 18 liter and the supplier will provide warehousing for 6 months in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

December 19, 2019, agreement for supply and delivery of Shelter Materials and Tool Kits between the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Khartoum - Sudan and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide UNHCR with Shelter Materials for white Nile State and Tool Kits for White Nile State and Kordofan.

May 10, 2020, agreement for supply and delivery of goods between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The Supplier agrees to provide IOM with (4,000 Full NFI Kits for West and North Darfur) 12000 single blankets 180 cm, 12000 sleeping mats (size:180x90cm), 8000 Plastic sheets size: 6x4 yards, white color with 4 IOM Logo, 4000 Kitchen set 21 pieces (containing 5 stainless steel mugs, 3 aluminum pots with plastic handle, 1 stainless steel spoons, 5 stainless steel bowls, 1 stainless steel knife with plastic handle, 1 stainless steel serving spoon, in a cardboard box dimensions adjusted to fit all kitchen set contents, packaged with tape and 4 plastic straps, marked IOM Logo on two sides) and 8000 Rigid Jerry cans 18 liter, and the supplier will provide visibility Banner and warehousing for 6 months in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

August, 2020, agreement for supply and delivery of goods between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The Supplier agrees to provide IOM with (600 full NFI Kits in Khartoum) 1, 800 single blankets 180cm x 90cm, 1, 800 sleeping mats (size: 180cm x 90cm), 1, 200 Plastic sheets size: 6 x 4 yards, white color with 4 IOM Logo & USAD Logo, 600 Kitchen set 21 pieces (Containing 5 stainless steel mugs, 3 Aluminum pots with lid (17L & 25L), 6 Table stainless steel spoons, 5 Stainless steel bowls, 1 Stainless knife with plastic handle, 1 Stainless serving spoon, in a cardboard box dimension adjusted to fit all kitchen set contents, packaged with tape and 4 plastic straps, marked IOM Logo & USAD Logo on two sides) and 1, 200 Rigid Jerry cans 18 liter, and Warehousing for 1 month, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

September,2020, agreement for the supply and delivery of Goods between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide IOM with (2, 000 female hygiene kits in Khartoum) and warehousing for 3 Month, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

November 14. 2020, a frame agreement between the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Khartoum - Sudan and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises for supply and delivery of Shelter Materials and Tools Kits to UNHCR Offices in Darfur, Kassala, Kordofan, and White Nile State.

July 27, 2021 until September 30, 2021 supply agreement between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. In accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement the supplier agrees to provide IOM with supply and delivery of 3, 800 Emergency shelter in two locations in Darfur States, 3000 for El Geneina and 800 for Nyala.

March 22, 2022 Galgalo Transportation Services has signed a contract with IOM to provide 6,000 Emergency Shelter (1,500 in West Darfur El geneina, 1, 500 in North Darfur El fasher and 3, 000 in South Darfur Nayala). This agreement should include the Transportation and Warehousing Services for 6 Months with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

Galgalo Transportation Services has signed a frame agreement with UNCHR effective 30th December 2020 to 29th December 2021 to purchase and delivery shelter kits and tool kits for Darfur State, White Nile State, Kassala State and Kordofan State. Therefore, the two parties agreed and extended the contract for a duration one year starting 30th December 2021 to 31st December 2022.

November, 2022, supply agreement between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide IOM with with supply and delivery of 2, 250 Emergency Shelter (Bamboo roll 50 mm, Bamboo roll 30mm, Grass mats, Wooden poles Y poles - 3 length and Straight Wooden poles) in Khartoum.

March, 2023, supply agreement between the International Organization for Migration and Galgalo Transportation Services Enterprises. The supplier agrees to provide IOM with purchasing 3000 full NIF Kits (Plastic Tarpaulin, Kitchen set, Single plastic sleeping mat, Single blanket, Jerry can, Mosquito nets and Solar lamp) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. The Goods shall be delivered to IOM Khartoum Warehouse.
